CHURCH HISTORY
Apostle Henry B. Crane, Pastor
Prophetess Arlena Crane, Co-Pastor

In August of 2000, God gave Apostle Henry Crane and Prophetess Arlena Crane a vision to reach the un-churched and provide those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior with a worship style unlike any other existing fellowship. God led them to begin this new church and in November of 2000, Pastor and Sister Crane began to enlist a “core group” by sharing the vision of a Church for people who had just about given up on church. The Abundant Life Christian Center Church began with five families who were no longer content with just “crumbs in the carpet”, but had a desire to seek God in His fullness and reach out to the community for Christ; they had a “hunger for the holy”.

This group began to meet in Pastor and Sister Crane’s home for weekly Bible study. From this Bible study, through prayer, as members were added, plans were made to actually begin meeting on Sunday mornings for worship service. The first worship service was held on January 7, 2001, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Plano. God added more to the ALCCC family and blessed us to move to the Richardson YMCA on Custer Road. Several more families were added, and in February 2001, God opened another door and The Abundant Life Christian Center Church moved to 811 S. Sherman Street in Richardson. God truly blessed us at south Sherman. As He continued to add to the body, He blessed us spiritually with His abiding presence. The Lord used many people to bless Abundant Life with organs, pews, pew bibles, and donations to erect an office for Pastor Crane.

Blessed and highly favored of the Lord, tried and tested God continued to open doors and poor out blessings and as our cup overflowed, He saw a need for classrooms. One day, Holy Spirit led Pastor & Sis. Crane to 1257 N. Plano Road in Richardson. They spied out the land and were astonished to walk in and see one of many visions God had given them laid out before their eyes. He blessed the Abundant Life Christian Center Church family to move into its present location August 28 th, 2004. Many ministries were added including Outreach, Benevolence, Daughter’s of Sarah, and Victorious Disciples.

In August 2005 there was a tremendous Hurricane that displaced thousands of residents in the state of Louisiana and Abundant Life was call upon to give assistance to many families. Through the power of God we were blessed to be able to serve over 70 families by providing food, clothing, and support.
In November of 2006, Abundant Life lost one of its core members, a true warrior for the Lord, Sis. Tammie Crane. She has been truly missed.

In the spring of 2007, Apostle and Sister Crane accepted their apostolic commission and were ordained under the apostolic ministry. As the church began to move under the apostolic anointing and authority, the Lord blessed Abundant Life even more as He began to add gifts to the ministry in divine order. He sent prophets, evangelists, teachers, and pastors which allowed the ministry to begin to flow under the full apostolic anointing and dimension. On September 26, 2009, Sis. Crane accepted her prophetic calling and began to operate in the office of a prophetess.

In August of 2009, after much prayer, the members of Restoration Ministry joined Abundant Life and with this union, the Lord added many additional gifts and ministries including Pastors of Outreach, Youth leaders, and Ministers to support our mission to Reach, Teach, and Touch People’s Lives to Impact the Kingdom of God. Truly the Lord has continued to bless the Abundant Life Christian Center Church.

. “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house say’s the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”- Haggai 2:9 To God be the glory for the things He has done! We ask that you continue to pray for us as we continue to walk by faith and not by sight.
